1968 Volkswagen Type 3 Notchback

West Michigan

The Story

Meet our "Daisy," a 1968 VW Type 3 Notchback. This is one of our favorite cars. These models were not originally sold in the U.S., but Daisy was bought by a Colonel and sent to the U.S. to his wife for their wedding anniversary in 1968.

She has a heater under the front bonnet that is powered by gasoline. We have disconnected that feature, though, for obvious safety reasons.

Daisy has even won the DeutscheMarques car show, in addition to our 356.
