The Story
I’ve only had this 1969 Camaro for about three years. To fund it, I actually had to sell my 1968 Camaro, which was a car I’d owned since high school. My uncle originally bought this '69 from his cousin, and for years it had a non-original 350 in it for drag racing.
The original 302 engine had been out of the car since the early 1980s. I managed to track it down by contacting the previous owner and going through various other channels to finally find it.
I just rebuilt the 302 and got it back in the car. It runs through a non-original M21 transmission now, but having that engine back where it belongs is what matters.
