1976 International Scout76

1976 International Scout

The Story

This truck has never been restored. Rather it has been maintained and upgraded through the many years of ownership. This is a single owner vehicle.

Bought this brand new from Colorado Springs Equipment Company in 1976. It was one of 384 bicentennial trucks produced in 1976. It originally had a 196 cu-in four cylinder, but now has a 392 cu-in V8.

The truck was used for traveling with the family. Multiple trips to Colorado, Montana, and British Columbia were taken which account for the 200,000 miles.

We have upgraded it for for drive-ability and we drive it a lot. It now has over 280,000 miles on it.

Spare tire was in the front to allow for tent in the back. Favorite thing about it is driving it.
