1966 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Deluxe

The Story

I had a 1966 Chevelle 300 in high school, and I bought this one twenty years ago to try and recreate my youth. It was purchased new at Modern Chevrolet in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and today it only has 25,000 actual miles on it.

It still has all its original sheet metal, original paint, and the original interior. Under the hood is a 327/350hp engine, and inside it features a factory shifter, a kneeknocker tachometer, and the factory gauge package. At one point, I also owned a yellow 1967 Chevelle that had only 17,000 miles on it.

I have owned this '66 for two decades now, and I even took it to the Triple Crown show in Nashville.
