1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

The Story

I had this car out in California and just got it back this spring. The build started when I was talking to Bobby Williams, the owner of Justified Performance out there. I asked him if he had a Chevelle, and he told me he had a 1969 that he would sell to me. It was a one-owner car before me with the original sheet metal, very straight, and didn't need any body work.

It took about two years to build. I knew what I wanted for the setup: I wanted a QA1 suspension, and instead of the 396, I wanted an LS3. Now it has 525 horsepower and a nice cam that sounds really good.

I also had electric cutouts put on it, which make it a lot of fun to drive.
